Medication Usage

What is telehealth and how does it work?

Telehealth is remote medical care via video calls or online platforms. For weight loss and peptide therapy, you consult providers, get prescriptions, and receive support without in-person visits.

How do I get started?

Visit the website, fill out an assessment form, and schedule an initial consultation where providers review your medical history and goals to determine suitability.

What treatments does HCMD offer?

We offer GLP-1 agonists (e.g., semaglutide and tirzepatide) as well as peptide therapy for overall anti-aging, inflammation, healing and overall health.

How often will I need to have telehealth appointments?

The frequency depends on the treatment plan. Initially, appointments may be more frequent for monitoring, then less often as you stabilize (e.g., every 8-12 weeks for follow-ups).

Can I get prescriptions through telehealth?

Yes, telehealth providers can prescribe medications after an initial assessment, but they must adhere to local laws and regulations. Ensure HCMD is licensed in your state.

How do I know if this is the right program for me?

During our initial consult, we will discuss your past medical history as well as current goals and health concerns to and recommend an individualized plan to suit your health care needs.

What results can I expect from the treatments?

Results vary. Weight loss medications may lead to significant weight reduction over months, while peptide therapies can offer benefits like improved skin elasticity or muscle mass.

How long does it take to see results?

Weight loss effects can start within weeks, with significant changes over months. Peptide therapy results depend on the specific peptide and condition being treated.

Are there any dietary or lifestyle changes I need to make?

Yes, most programs require dietary modifications (e.g., calorie reduction) and increased physical activity for optimal results.

How do I track my progress?

Track progress through regular weigh-ins, measurements, and assessments during appointments. Some providers use digital tools or apps for monitoring.
